Oil on wood 2026- This painting is a reflection on the loss of my great-grandmother. At the end of her life, she felt almost as if her body was merely a cage. She was ready to move on from her physical form and experience what she imagined to be freedom that must come hand in hand with death. The piece is about letting go rather than forcing nature’s will.
